The LAC candleworks produces decorative, artistic, Yuletide, outdoor and garden candles and votive candles. Active for years in the craft candle productionsector, the products on sale at the candleworks are entirely "Made in Italy" by an attentive and skilled workforce. The materials used for the production of the candles are the best on the market: pure refined paraffin, pure cotton wick, dyes and pigments designed specifically for candles which do not emit harmful substances during burning.
The craft candleworks has been producing candles since 1973. In order to fully enjoy the heat and intensity that a lit candle can give, it is essential to remember to cut the wick to approx 1.5 cm before lighting the candle and keep the flame away from heat sources and flammable materials such as curtains, carpets, decorations, etc. The flame should not be exposed to air currents because it may drip, and should be burned on a heat resistant surface, and on a suitable base or in a candle holder.
Handcrafted candles should not be burned for more than 2, 4 or 6 consecutive hours (depending on the shape of the object) and for proper burning it is necessary to clean the edge of the candle before relighting it. Leave a space of around 10 cm between one flame and another.
To ensure a high quality product compliant with European regulations on the health of the person and the environment, the candleworks, together with “Associazione Cera d’Italia” (Italian Wax Association), has undertaken to not use wicks with a lead core or paraffin containing benzene, and to not use child labour for its candle production.
